Double room with en-suite bathroom One night's stay £95 for the room including breakfast.
2 nights or more £85 for the room per night including breakfast.
Double room with en-suite bathroom single occupancy £75 for the room including breakfast.
Single room with private bathroom £50 per night including breakfast.
Cancellation: If you cancel within 7 days or up to 24 hours before your visit, you will be charged a cancellation fee of £25 unless of course we can re-let your room, in which case you will not be charged. Any cancellation within 24 hours of your visit will incur a charge of the full price of your room quoted at the time of booking.
No smoking and sorry no pets, Sidney wouldn’t approve!
Access
We aim to cater for the needs of all visitors to Swan Cottage and below is a summary of what we provide - please feel free to call us and we will try to help with any specific questions.
Trains and transport.
The main line train station is a five minute walk away where there are frequent trains to London and the coast. Buses also stop here from all parts of Kent, Sussex and Surrey as well of course local services. The station also has the usual taxi rank.
If you wish we can collect you from the station or bus stop. From the High Street, the cottage is at the top of Warwick Road a rather steep cobbled street.
Inside
There are three steps up to the front door. Once inside the rooms are up a flight of twelve stairs to a landing, where on the left is the private bathroom with the single room next door. The other door leads to the double/twin room that has an en suite bathroom. Guests are escorted to their rooms, assistance is given with luggage and the facilities are explained.
Both bedrooms have lockable doors. TVs have remote controls.
Parking
There is a parking space in the garage at the back of the cottage which is available by prior arrangement.
Safety
There is a torch in each bedroom and a fire extinguisher and a smoke alarm on the landing. An emergency bell is provided on the landing to call for assistance. To leave the building, the front door opens on the latch and the back door has a key in an emergency box.
Laundry
Guests may use the washing machine/tumble drier if they are available.
Fridge
The kitchen fridge may be used on request.
